Emergency Lighting Systems

Through no fault of your own, a fire, a power cut or if your normal lighting supply fails, it’s required by law that all occupied buildings have suitable escape lighting to allow safe exit should the worst come to happen.

Our Emergency Lighting systems fall into the following categories:

  • Escape Lighting provides illumination for anyone safely trying to leave a building or location.
  • Route Lighting provides an effective means of escape by highlighting the nearest & safest exit from the building in question.
  • Area Lighting is designed to provide illumination in a specific area so people who are trying to escape can find the nearest & safest escape route.
  • High-Risk Area Lighting is designed for people who are involved in high-risk tasks such as working with machinery, tools or other such equipment. In the event of a fire, power cut or if you normal lighting supply fails, this lighting allows them to safely shut down the machinery, tools or equipment.

Whilst our systems are listed as separate categories, these types of lighting systems would be part of an overall plan to ensure that your property is safe & meets the legal requirements.

Excellent Response Time – Would Highly Recommend

Recently had an issue with a short circuit for my two story garage. Tried to find the problem myself but failed. Contacted PES Electrical Services that evening (after 5pm), an engineer was out the following day and the issue was found and made safe within an hour – great service.

Following that I requested a quote to re-wire both stories of the garage, price was very reasonable. The job was confirmed and scheduled in or a few days later. The job was completed to a very high standard.
